IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Thank you for visiting our new online shop. As you may be aware, EQM Ltd has been serving the UK Fire and Security industry since 1996 and we are constantly looking for ways to provide better services for you. The primary purpose of this site is to provide the British, European and International standards that you need under a subscription. This means that you do not need to own the standards, but can use them under license as long as the annual subscription is paid up and the Terms of Use of the site are not breached. There are plans to include other services and products within this site in the future. Just after launching this service, The British Standards Institution reviewed what we are offering on this site and to whom. It seems that there has been a misunderstanding between us on these two crucial points. Consequently, they have asked us to prevent customers from subscribing to this service for the time being, giving us a chance to clearly define the offering and the "community" to whom these documents can be made available. We are currently in discussion with them to grant access to the customers who have subscribed prior to this restriction being put in place. If you are a current subscriber trying to download standards you should have access to the site by going to the login page and entering your username and password. We don't know how long this service will be available to you but we are hoping that you will have access to it for at least the length of your subscription period. If you are a prospective subscriber to this service, we apologize for not being able to grant access to this site but invite you to return to the main EQM Ltd web site (click here). You will be able to click through the links to buy the standards you need from the BSI Online Shop or follow the instructions on that page to use our offline ordering facility to obtain a 10% - 20% discount from BSI's published prices. We hope to have this situation resolved as quickly as possible. |
